Play Synopsis: Come witness the extraordinary story of a couple who operated a lighthouse in an era in which lighthouses were still used to mark dangerous coastline, hazardous shoals and reefs, and navigate mariners to safe entries into harbors. This drama will draw you in to their hardships, courage, stamina, and romance. About the Venue: The venue is uniquely decorated featuring a custom chandelier adorned with Edison light bulbs in the main dining hall. A faux New Orleans city-scape was constructed on the upper wall leaving patrons to imagine they have been transported to a different city. There are two separate restrooms, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, and an actor's greenroom. The building is estimated to have been built in the 1890s and was first occupied by a local doctor. It survived 3 separate fires over the years. In the early 1970s it was a barber shop. It was purchased and fully renovated in 2015 and is now a dinner theater featuring original stage performances. What you can expect: Patrons enjoy a 3-course meal designed to match the theme of the night's performance and is delivered to the table in cast iron dishes and set on a customized lazy Susan. Patrons enjoy their meal listening to theme-based dinner music after which a brief intermission is offered and the show starts after the meal. The show runs approximately 1 hour and 15 to 20 minutes.
